Compound Words Dictation: Travel and Transport Compounds
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Listen for the complete travel name, including the word that tells you its type or purpose. A familiar transport word may be followed by another noun, and together they name a place, document or journey detail. Some compounds are closed words; others have spaces. The sound alone cannot tell you the spelling. Let the journey context help you recognise the expression, then keep every part in your answer. Pay attention to the surrounding prepositions too: they show where something is or where the traveller is going.
