Compound Words Dictation: Workplace Compound Nouns
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Keep each workplace name together as you listen. One word may tell you the purpose or type of the next: the group names a room, role, document or part of the working day. Some names are written as one word and others as two, so there is no single spacing rule for all of them. Hear the full sentence before deciding which name fits. Notice plurals and any extra detail around the group. Knowing the main work word is helpful, but the complete phrase carries the meaning.
