Gerunds & Infinitives Dictation: Objects before Infinitives
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Catch the person between the first verb and to. That person is expected, invited or encouraged to do the following action. If you miss a quiet me, him or us, you may lose who the sentence is about. Listen to the whole request or instruction before typing. For a negative instruction, you will hear not before to, and both words need to stay there. Keep the original verb and object too: similar requests can use different words, but dictation asks for the speaker's exact version.
