Word Formation Dictation: Common Derived Nouns
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Listen to the whole noun, especially its ending. You may know the related verb or adjective, but decision, agreement and kindness have their own sounds and spellings. An article or describing word before the noun can help you follow its role. Do not change a word into a noun yourself; the recording already gives the form you need. Catch it within the complete phrase, then write the surrounding action too. Some words change more than an ending when formed from their base.
